Gladwin Township Board Meeting

January 19, 2022

Meeting called to order at 6:30 by Supervisor Weaver. All board members present except John Mella was absent. Pledge to the flag. Other people present were Jennifer Slabic. Motion by Doug Ritchie seconded by Jodie Klamer to approve minutes from the December meeting. M/C Treasurer’s report was given and the general account is $165,585.81 and the money market account is $41,051.81. Motion by Kristie Simrau seconded by Doug Ritchie to accept and file the treasurer’s report as presented. The clerk presented the bills to be paid. Motion by Kristie Simrau seconded by Jodie Klamer to pay the bills in the amount of $8,968.65. M/C/.

The board discussed ARPA funds through the county and that our township should submit a proposal to the county. The clerk asked a good date and time for the township budget workshop. The board decided that Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 6:00 the board will meet for the 2022-2023 budget workshop.

Jennifer Slabic was present to give the cemetery report. They had one burial last month. Jennifer discussed the price increase we should have for our cemeteries. The board will discuss that at the budget workshop.

Supervisor commented on the fireboard meeting. Also supervisor was still trying to reach the tree removal company.

Motion by Doug Ritchie seconded by Jodie Klamer to adjourn at 7:10
