Gladwin Township Board Meeting

September 15, 2021

Meeting called to order at 6:30 by Supervisor Weaver. All board members present except Doug Ritchie was absent. Pledge to the flag. Other people present were Jennifer Slabic, Kyle Grove. Motion by John Mella seconded by Kristie Simrau to approve minutes from the August meeting. M/C Treasurer’s report was general account $145,795.55 and money market account $41,057.80, Motion by Kristie Simrau seconded by John Mella to accept and file the treasurer’s report as presented. M/C. Bills presented for payment totaling $23,467.05. Motion by Jodie Klamer seconded by John Mella to pay the bills in the amount of $23,467.05. M/C.

Kyle Grove, county commissioner was present and gave report. Kyle included in his report that the passports will no longer be handled in the clerks office. The Register of Deeds will handle them.

Discussion regarding tree removal at the cemetery. The clerk will put an ad in the Gladwin County Record to see if we get any interest.

Jennifer Slabic gave a cemetery report, one full burial, sold one lot and we had one mowing. Thank you to Supervisor for cleaning out the debris from the cemeteries burn areas. John Mella gave the fireboard report.

Supervisor reported that the gravel has not been done yet.

Motion by Kristie Simrau seconded by John Mella to adjourn at 6:46 pm.
